Bellwether is one of my all-time favorites, too. When I used to be in a bookclub, I actually got them to read this book (they were very anti-scifi/fantasy) and we had one of the best discussions ever.

I need to return my Ellis FI book, too. It's just plain bad!

I've got to read the Hornby book. I've already seen the movie, which I loved, and usually I like books better than movies. Have you read his High Fidelity? Great book.

Out of curiousity. How many pages do you think you read a day? I'm still amazed how many books you read in a month. :-)

Ah! You read a Rama Book! I have to tell you that the later books get more and more into the human side of things. The series really changes in feel as you go from one book to the next. They eventually start a sort of colony in one of these ships and there is lots of interesting things that come of that.

OMG. I remember Touch Not the Cat! My grandmother loved those Gothic mystery/romances, and when she wasn't looking I would sneak one off to my room. :-) That one was pretty good, as I recall!

And I flipped through Inspired Fair Isle Knits the other day and was hugely let down, too. The scarf is amazing, but nothing else in the book comes close.

I LOVE the Mirabile book. I wish she would write another one....

Bellwether is great. Still love her Doomsday Book best though.

I was really surprised at FHB actual life, as opposed to what I'd thought. Pretty interesting. I still haven't picked up LLF. Library tonight...

Wow, I'm impressed at your reading list! I love SciFi/Fantasy books, so I'll have to check some of those out.

Calling in by way of Booking Through Thursday.
I am astounded by the number of books you read in a month. How do you do it? You must be reading all the time!

I read Blue Sword when I was (a lot) younger - loved it then, love it now and need to read more of her books!

Jesus Christ you read a lot! I'm flummoxed! :)
