Ah, October....

Img_2180 Ah, my favorite month of the year. (Well, if you discount the seasonal allergies.)

Hey, my Mom said the funniest thing the other day. We got a flyer for a craft show in Morristown the 20th of October.

"Darn," I said, That's the same weekend as Rhinebeck."

"I guess that means we don't need to keep the flyer then, huh?"

"Nope."

"But . . . " she said, "Maybe we should hang onto it, in case it rains?"

Um. You know, it was the strangest thing. She looked like my mother, but obviously in that moment, she was taken over by aliens or something. Because, really, skip Rhinebeck? I don't think so!

Besides. I'm a square, after all.

So . . . who else is going to be there on that Saturday?

Beautiful shot! The sky looks scary but still pretty to look at.

My first year at Rhinebeck I thought the same thing - boy did my friends in the know let me have it :) Gone are my naive ways.

I'm a square too.

whimper, whine, cry! i'm beginning to think i'm NEVER going to make it to rhinebeck!!

Nope. I'll be in ... Detroit ... working.

::huge sigh::

Thinking of the extra days I'll get to take off at Christmas because I was good this fall...

Mme Purl and I will be driving down with MiniSoup on Friday and will be there through Sunday. This will be my first time participating in the bingo, should be fun!

I'm a Square too, but I'm going Sunday. Figured it would be the easier of the two days to have the little ones in tow.

Love that pic! Yeah, your Mom must have had a moment of insanity or something. ;) I'll be there both days, and I'm a square too. :)

In case it rains? Hahaha. Your mom's a funny lady.

I'll be there on Saturday and Sunday. I'm a square and a player. I'll see you there! 18 days.

Hi there! I'll be there too, as a square and a player :) I'm finally catching up on the participant list so I'll be able to recognize a few people! Fingers crossed for a dry and sweater-weather sort of day.

oh my goodness, that is too funny!

??? If it's raining in Rhinebeck, won't it be raining in Morristown, too?

I'm planning to attend on Sunday - sorry to miss you!
