Well, in Canada, we remember our war veterans and dead on November 11th....I like the sweater tote idea...I was looking at my messy stash the other day and thinking "what to do???"

I liked Music and Lyrics too:) After some of the really really bad season finales this year, a little fluff was good!

Those canvas storage things look and sound like a great option. I'm about up to tackling all the fibery stuff in my studio clean out. I'll have to keep those in mind.

DH and I *loved* Music and Lyrics. We saw it at our discount theater not too long ago but were dismayed that we were the only ones to laugh out loud at it. We thought it was hilarious. Perhaps because DH was way into music in the 80's and is into writing and recording music. Glad to hear you and your mom enjoyed it though!

You're in the home stretch with that sweater. Woot! The new shawl is looking marvelous. By the way, those iris photos are fabulous. I'll bet they were really something in person.

Oh, and there's a little note to you in my blog. Go see. ;-)

Whew! I made it through! ;) Ok, ok, you aren't cheating. Looking forward to seeing CI all together.

Bloglines is lagging. This post wasn't on bloglines until this morning (5/30). I've heard a bunch of people lament the brass metallic smell of the Addi lace needles. I love the color you're using for the shawl!

Your shawl looks great so far! Thanks for posting about the Addi lace needles. I've been wondering about them and yours was the first pro/con review I've read.

Celtic looks like you are so close to finishing now!

We loved Music and Lyrics too. I wonder why there aren't more light-hearted comedies when we're going through such a tough time as a country? I for one love having something silly to take my mind off of things.

we do remember our fallen. but we don't celebrate memorial day. to be quite honest with you, both memorial day, 4th of july and halloween don't mean diddly squat over here, nor should they.

however, anzac day on the other hand is something else http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anzac_day
