Stalled

Img_4426Well, here I am.

I've finished all the pieces of my sweater that I know I have enough yarn for.

I still have the two sleeves to do, but only about a skein and a third of yarn for each of them--not enough.

Now, I blogged about this the other day. I did order more yarn on Wednesday . . . deciding that I won't worry about the dyelot. Except . . . I haven't heard about my yarn being shipped. I got the order confirmation with a note that it should "ship within two business days" and that I'd be notified . . . well, it's been five business days and I haven't heard a thing.

And so, I'm waiting.

I just wish Fuzzy Mabel would write.... I hate losing what little momentum I have, you know, since it's taken me five months to get to this point.

(I won't even go into the fact that the day AFTER I placed my order they posted a "20% off all orders" sale . . . it figures.)

I'll weave in all my loose ends, which is something, I suppose.

Is there anything worse than running out of yarn? Ugh... I think I started this disease and it's spreading! Yikes!! Hope you hear from the company soon.

Oh dear - I hope you hear soon. Perhaps you should just check in on them tomorrow??

Just stay focused on how fabulous it'll be when it's done.

I wonder if they are in the process of moving and you ordered so close to their moving day that you are going to end up getting the 20% off but not get the yarn until after they are moved (beginning of April)?

I mean, I didn't visit their site until the day you posted about ordering more yarn and the note about the 20% off was already there! :)

They've always shipped fast to me (yarn arriving to me in VA within a few days), but I haven't ordered from them in at least a year...

My fingers are crossed the yarn arrives soon!

hopefully you'll get the same dyelot. It's looking grand thus far.

How frustrating. Can you email them about the sale and ask for the sale price? A lot of places have a '30 day' policy, though I haven't heard of a yarn store that does that...

Uggghhh! There is nothing like hitting a road block on a project. *sigh* I'm sending good shipping mojo in your direction!

Eeew. All frustrating!

I hate getting stalled on a project that way! Hang in there, gf. Here's hoping the yarn shows up soon.
