Big Sister
Today's my sister's birthday (though I won't tell you which one--I'd prefer that she continues to speak to me). But I'm more than happy to share a couple of old pictures!
Me and Patty, back when I was still (obviously) very small! Patty would have been about 2 1/2 - 3 years old here. Gotta love her big, cheesy grin!
Us at the beach, a few years later. (And yes, I really used to be blonde!) (And also yes, I am in fact wearing saddle shoes. According to Mom, I refused to step off the blanket onto the hot sand without them. Actually, I still don't like going barefoot, so I guess somethings haven't changed.)
Doing a jigsaw puzzle (apparently a hard one since I've got that "I don't know where it goes!" look on my face). And, the only excuse for the outfits is that this was the early 70s, what can I say? At least we were little and cute!)
With our Daddy . . . (and, apparently, Tinkerbell, who found her way into a lot of these pictures!) I love this picture--and had it blown up for Dad for Father's Day a few years ago.
And last, one of my favorite pictures of the two of us--one which I had blown up for Patty for her birthday a few years ago. (What can I say? Nostalgic photos in a nice frame makes a great gift!) But weren't we cute on whatever Christmas morning this was??
Anyway . . . have a very happy birthday, Patty! I hope you had a wonderful day!

Happy birthday, Patty!
I love the bathing suit + diaper + saddle oxfords in the second picture. Tres cute, Deb.

Happy birthday Patty.
I too love the saddle shoes on the beach picture! Kids do some seriously strange things. Very cute though.
