It is good that your parents got to visit him and that you sent the 'fruitcakes'. Although you are currently in a 'twilight zone', prayers are with you...and if you can work on your fiberart, it will help you (as will Chappy).

Oh, I'm so sorry. I hope your dad got down there in time to see him a little bit before the end. There's always the small consolation that the suffering wasn't drawn out for too long.
